About Inlays & Onlays

Inlays and onlays are indirect restorations used when a tooth has too much damage for a filling but not enough to require a full crown. Inlays fit within the cusp tips of the tooth, while onlays extend over one or more cusps. Made from durable porcelain, composite resin, or gold, they're fabricated in a dental laboratory for a precise fit. These restorations strengthen the tooth by up to 75% compared to traditional fillings, last longer, and preserve more of your natural tooth structure. CAD/CAM technology allows us to create some inlays and onlays in a single visit.
